Fourteen years ago when I had a young family and every penny had to be spent carefully I searched the entire city for the best piano my bonus would buy. My search stopped at Michael Chau’s Piano Emporium where I was able to buy my wife and young daughters an economic stand-up. Watching those little fingers play those lvory keys has given us Tremendous joy and it was one of the best investments my wife and I ever made. My oldest daughter now studying classical music at university, needed a superior piano to practice on and my twentieth anniversary was soon approaching. My wjfe was dreaming of a Baby Grand but I had no idea how I could afford one. Especially since i’m only teaching part-time to pursue a Masters degree at McMaster Divinity College. When l visited Mike's showroom he showed me only the pianos I could afford and was very honest with the pros and cons of each one. I went back to the Showroom three times and Mike never pressured me once to make a purchase and never rushed my many questions. Considering my budget and needs l eventually chose a piano that gave Me the sound I wanted but desperately needed to be refurbished. Unable to pay for the cosmetic repairs to the scratches, gauges, etc., l Was content to delay the refurbishing for another year. A week later I went back to the showroom and tears swelled up in my eyes. Without additional cost Mike and his team fixed the gauges and gave the piano a fresh coat of varnish. As I am typing this endorsement I am listening to my daughter practice and am looking at a beautiful piano that sounds great. Who does anything for free these days? When I become a minister it will be very important to spend the congregation’s donations wisely. If the church needs a new piano or repairs to the one it has I will definitely go t o Michael Chau's Piano Emporium. I have experienced better service and quality from Mike than any other Business I have ever purchased from. Last September ’04 we had the pleasure of meeting you and purchasing a refinished Nordheimer from you. Through your knowledge and expertise you suggested that this piano was refinished with the greatest care and attention to quality. Indeed, we are not piano experts such as yourself but we took you at your word and decided to make the purchase. You truly are a man of your word with a great passion for pianos. I have to say that we have had to move twice since the purchase and consequently hire expert piano movers. Each time we have had nothing but complements about your exquisite workmanship inside and out. The movers always had to check the mechanics inside the piano to see if the workmanship lived up to the outer appearance. They were always so amazed at the quality of work they saw and said they had never seen a Nordheimer more beautifully finished! Mr Ken McNallie was the last mover and he made sure he had your name right before he left that day – “Mr Michael Chau? I’ll remember that name. He has a name for himself now.” In other words, he was so impressed that he intends to recommend your services to any opportunity! So my family and I thank you so much for all your passion and dedication to your field. We very much appreciate it and will always cherish the end result of it in our beautiful Nordheimer.

Our family purchased on of your rebuilt pianos on June 22 1997. I would like to thank you for your patience as we struggled through the decision to complete the transaction. First of all, I would like to thank you for the manner in which the piano Was delivered – the care of proctecting it in transportation from your Store – and the unloading and assembling of the piano in our living room.
